Muzala Shinka

Chief Executive Officer

Muzala Shinka is a former Executive Director at UBA, and has held senior leadership roles at Barclays and Standard Chartered in Zambia. In 2015 he founded IPEX Capital Partners, which has advised on over half a billion US Dollars of transactions across Africa. He is a board member of several companies in Zambia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). He holds a BA (Hons) and an MSc (Econ) from University of Surrey.

Mundia Kabinga (PhD)

Non-Executive Chairman

Mundia Kabinga (Ph.D.), Board Chairman of African Energy Trading Corporation (Zambia) Limited, brings over two decades of expertise in energy policy, infrastructure development, and strategic economic management. With a doctorate in Business Administration and extensive advisory work for governments and organizations, he bridges policy, academia, and industry. His global experience and focus on climate change economics align with the company’s mission to lead Zambia’s energy transition and drive sustainable growth in sub-Saharan Africa.

Happy M. Nkunde

Non-Executive Director

Happy Mubanga Nkunde is an accomplished electrical engineer with 20 years of experience across the private sector and a public power utility. He specializes in energy management, power quality monitoring, and renewable energy solutions. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Electronics from Copperbelt University, is a certified energy auditor, and a member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia.

Lloyd L. Chinjenge

Non-Executive Director

Lloyd L. Chinjenge is an engineer by profession, as well as a consultant, researcher, and trader. He rose to the position of Director after serving as Energy Officer and Assistant Director Technical (Renewable and Energy Management) in the Ministry of Energy over 19 years of service. His experience spans various industries, including sugar, cement, diamonds, university lecturing, electricity and fuel markets, corporate governance, and international trade.

Dina P. Mambwe PhD

Non-Executive Director

Dr. Mambwe is a seasoned expert in Sustainable Land Management and Livelihoods with over two decades of experience across various sectors. Her educational background is in Agronomy, with a PhD in Public and Development Management . Her transdisciplinary approach encompasses the integration of environmental, social and economic issues to achieve sustainability.
